Native-Inspired Art: A Dialogue with Ancestral Symbolism
My work is deeply influenced by the visual language of Indigenous cultures—especially Aztec and Mayan traditions. Through both 3D ceramics and 2D acrylic paintings, I explore sacred symbols, natural elements, and the deep spiritual connection between land, body, and myth. Each piece is a reverent interpretation, honoring ancestral wisdom while expressing my own story of remembrance and reconnection. These works are not meant to replicate, but to reflect—bridging ancient motifs with contemporary emotion and earth-based ritual through both clay and canvas.
